the bōdhi rope suspension system and core strengthening method
Together, they are an eclectic mixture of conventional strength training, Pilates and rehabilitative exercises and stretches all supported and challenged by utilizing two adjustable ropes with multiple attachments. It is designed to serve all strengthening and flexibility needs for any activity or sport. The bōdhi system is portable and can also be easily installed in your home or gym since it is both affordable and takes up no floor space.
Why bōdhi?
- 1
Unlike any other suspension systems on the market today, the bōdhi system forms four adjustable rope lines when anchored. This allows for various attachments to be utilized simultaneously or individually. Utilizing multiple attachments also allows for a one time set up and full body or four point suspension.
- 2
The bōdhi rope suspension system is designed with two separate ropes creating two anchor points. The two anchor points are aligned through the center of the joints involved in each exercise. This emphasizes proper bio-mechanics and body alignment which alleviates stress and torque on the joints.
- 3
When the body moves out of its center of gravity, the core muscles are forced to contract. As the core muscles fire, they move closer and tighter to the bones, but at an angle that opens up and supports the joint. This allows for a greater range of motion so that the superficial muscles, those closest to the surface of the skin, can strengthen and become more flexible.
- 4
The system and method can be used from youth to senior, injured to de-conditioned, novice to high-powered athletes. They can also be used for cross training or in conjunction with any other discipline to develop core strength without compromising joint integrity.
- 5
The system is portable and takes up no floor space. bōdhi can be easily installed for use at home, outdoors, or on the go. bōdhi is a versatile and dynamic apparatus that can be utilized by any exercise discipline including, but not limited to, Pilates, Yoga, fitness training, and rehabilitative settings, in groups or individually.
